Meet Bee
Hi, my name is Bee! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Intelligent, energetic
-Can Live with Kids: Since she has not met many children before we are recommending older teens (16 years plus).
-Can Live with Cats: No, Bee has a history of chasing small animals and cats.
-Can Live with Dogs: Possibly - she has successfully lived with a dog of similar size previously, but the previous owners mentioned she does not do well with small dogs. Introductions will be scheduled to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can do Apartment Living: No since she can be vocal and will need plenty of room for exercise.
-Potty Trained: Bee was having accidents in her previous home on occasion. She has been getting better here at the shelter, but may need some additional training once in her new home.
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: One private lesson may be required depending on adopters' experience.
-Energy Level: High!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Just a microchip!
-Additional Information: Bee is a smart girl with a lot to say! She is searching for a forever home that will be dedicated to finding ways to keep her busy. When Bee is stressed or bored she tends to let her people know by baying. Using her nose is her favorite thing to do which will be a helpful tool in keeping her busy. It would be extremely beneficial if Bee had a "job" do to in her new home, especially if she gets to use her nose! Jobs for Bee could consist of searching for truffles or even tracking things! She would also make a great hiking companion. Either way she will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. In her previous home Bee would occasionally urinate in the house, but it seemed to happen when she was not getting enough daily exercise. She has done well here at the shelter trying to wait to go potty until she is outside. Bee is excited to find her new best forever friend, if you'd like to meet her please fill out an application to be reviewed!
