Beau and Holly are a bonded pair who are gentle, calm, and friendly. They came back to DRNA because their owner could no longer take care of them. They are healthy 13 year old red smooth miniature dachshunds. They love being with people and enjoy "hunting" in the yard. They both love blankets and treats. They sometimes sleep together. They are very loving and Holly especially likes to sleep on laps. Holly is more nervous and skittish with new people so she needs time to warm up. Beau loves nice days outside and walks. Both hate the rain - typical dachshunds! They are not too barky for doxies but will bark when someone knocks on the door. Both are housetrained, crate-trained and walk on a leash. Prefer an all-adult home with a good-sized fenced yard for them.
