This handsome man is Beau! He is goofy, smart and playful. He is also so loving and loyal to his humans! Beau also goes by Boba, and he will do anything for a treat!
He is a younger guy, so he needs activity and play time throughout the day. He can also be so chill and cuddly too! He spends many an evening just munching away on a benebone. Beau also loves playing with other dogs! He likely wouldn’t do well in a home with small dogs, but he would pair well with dogs of medium/larger size. He can come on strong with other dogs and really likes to play, but he does respond well to corrections from other dogs when he’s being too much for them.
Beau is house trained, he never has any accidents in his foster home. If he really needs to go potty, he will bark to tell you he needs to go out. He is also crate trained, but he prefers to be with his humans. So if you’re home and put him in the other room, he’ll probably whine for you.
This boy is also so smart! He’s been through a training program so he knows commands such as sit, down, come, and kennel. He’s also pretty good on a leash, but he is strong and will test his handler on if they’ll let him pull or not, so whoever adopts him will have to be a good leader to him.
Beau grew up in a home with kids and loved them, but he’d likely do better in a home with older kids or no kids since he is so big and strong.
Beau was born in the care of our rescue, so we know his birthday with certainty as April 22, 2022. He was recently returned and we can’t wait for him to find his forever home!
