Has this dog been around small children? Not under age 8.
House Trained: Yes
Obedience Training: No
Crate Trained: Yes but not necessary.
Leash Trained: Easy walker! He definitely loves a walk.
Fence Requirements: Requires physical fence.
Hunting Requirements: NOT a hunter, cannot be a hunting companion.
Energy level: High Energy, Playful, Loving
Known Abuse in the past:
Seems somewhat head shy and does not like his back or close to his neck touched when surprised. Gentle and careful attention is needed when putting a leash on for walks.

Resource guarding: Improving! He will guard some of his toys but getting better each day. He has been okay if his foster reaches for his bowl with food in it…but is fed separately from other dogs in the home.

Aggression issues: Beau has become more confident and less fearful around other dogs; his initial behavior of growling has disappeared. He tries to beat his foster brother out the door:)

Anxiety (Separation, nervous energy): At times, has shown some nervous energy. He likes to be around his people and vocalizes by whimpering if he isn't in the same area. He calms down once he hears his foster "talking" to him.

He is easily startled by sounds or sudden movements but is showing this less and less.
He is head shy.
He is treat motivated.
Knows SIT and down
Loves to be near his people; he would love nothing more than to have his person for pets, playing outside and walks.

He is learning how to play with toys-he loves Squeaky toys and he will run after the ball if you throw it to him; just does not bring it back:) He expects the ball to be thrown over and over-and loves it.

He is a really special dog who needs a lot of LOVE and will be a great dog for someone that will show him love and give him lots of treats.
He is a silly boy that will sometimes sit in the water bowl after drinking water. His foster placed a kiddie pool tub with water outside and he literally jumps in there to drink water, sits in it and then gets out and shakes himself off.

Beau lives and loves to be outside. His foster family has been fabulous in helping him adjust from whence he came!
