Bear is a 5-month-old chocolate Lab mix with a heart as sweet as his gorgeous brown coat. Weighing in at 20 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion who’s ready to grow up alongside his forever family.
Bear is a playful, smart, and food-motivated pup who loves learning new things. He is potty trained as long as he is kept in a consistent routine. He’s already showing how clever he can be and will thrive with continued positive training. He enjoys romping around with his doggy friends, playing with his favorite toys, chewing on bones, and soaking up the great outdoors.
When playtime winds down, Bear is all about the snuggles! He’s great with other dogs and adores children, making him a wonderful family dog.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
