Bear (Polar)'s Story
Bear (Polar) is an adorable, curious and energetic 4-year old cattle dog who is looking for an active home and an experienced, confident pet owner who understands "working/herding" breeds and can provide routine and structure .

Bear is house-trained and crate trained, neutered and utd on shots. He is independent but enjoys playing with the resident dog and other friendly, social dogs. He'd do fine as an only dog too as long as he had opportunity for socialization. As a working breed, he has a lot of energy to burn, loves going on hikes and long walks, enjoys car rides leading to adventures and would thrive with an active lifestyle. He loves the water, but is afraid to swim. He loves sticks and playing fetch and would love a fenced-in yard or having lots of room to run and play.

He doesn't like loud noises so he's not an urban/city kind of dog, but loves the outdoors. Bear enjoys a good belly rub and the occasional cuddle. Because of his herding tendencies, we will not place him in a home with very small children and cats or small dogs.

If you are interested in learning more about Bear, please email us at jerseygirlsanimalrescue@gmail.com.
