Bear Labrador Retriever Mix Wantagh, NY

Bear is our terrier /Labrador retriever mix and is about 3 years old. Bear came in to the shelter after one of our officers picked him up from a home where the owner was evicted, and unfortunately did not have a place to go with Bear. Bear is an active boy in his kennel, but once outside is great on leash and has even attended some of our doggy play groups. At this time, he's still a little nervous and shy, and does need to learn some social skills with other dogs so slow introductions are recommended. Bear is very treat motivated which will be a huge help during training! At this time, he is recommended to go home with teens, 15 and up
