Meet Bear

Picnic time for Teddy Bears ... Watch them, catch them unawares And see them frolic on their holiday See them gaily gad about They love to play and shout They never have any care. At six o'clock their Mommies and Daddies Will take them home to bed Because they're tired little Teddy Bears - from 'Teddy Bear's Pinic'
Bear is a 3-month-old Lab/Chessy mix currently weighing around 20 lbs and will likely be a large boy when fully grown. He is already crate trained and is currently working on house training, leash training, and some basic commands. He will, of course, need continued training and guidance with his new family as he is still just a baby. Bear loves everyone he meets and gets along well with other dogs as well as cats. He is an active tot who loves to play tug, play in water, wrestle, and run around playing like any pup his age. He is a chewer so he will need supervision until he learns boundaries. He would be great for an active family who likes to go on adventures and explore new surroundings. Bear is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on prevents, and micro chipped. All he really needs now is a mommy and or daddy who will enjoy playing and frolicking with this teddy bear of a pup and tuck him in with lots of love each night cuz...he'll be tired little Bear.
PUPPIES AND YOUNG DOGS GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their evolving behaviors. Puppies cannot be left unattended for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Young pups can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy" and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
