Meet Bear

Bear here is not our typical Dirk's dog but we love him anyways! He's an entertaining guy that loves to be around people. He's playful and super smart. We don't know how he is around other dogs, children or cats. He is high energy but still loves to cuddle up on the couch with you. His ideal family would live an active lifestyle. He requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Bear is estimated to be around 1 year old. His current weight is around 50 pounds.

The minimum donation for Bear is $500.00. This includes all of his vetting. If you are interested in Bear, please fill out an online application through our website.

Then meet him at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
