Bear came to Fuzzy Pawz when his owner fell on hard times and could not longer keep him. While it broke her heart she knew she needed to do what was right for him; we promised to find Bear an amazing new family.
This good looking boy is super friendly, gentle and a great big love. Bear has never met a stranger and loves everyone he meets. His goal in life is to hang with his people no matter what they are doing.
Bear is a low maintenance dog with fairly low energy. He loves a daily walk but doesn’t expect to go hiking or running. He has great house manners, is house trained and dog door trained. He knows a few commands (sit, stay, come) but is a bit selective about actually doing them.
He is dog friendly and seems to do well with multiple sizes and behaviors. His previous owner said he is good with cats; though his foster family does not have any so we would suggest a careful introduction.
Because Bear is so friendly we think he’d do fine with kids that are over 5.
