Meet Bea White

Bea White is an approximately 11 year old female yorkie. Bea has come such a long way. We think likely came from a breeder situation as she was quite shut down and frightened when she first came in. Everything was new to her and she was unsure of how to be a pet. Beau is now following the other dog's routines in her foster home and learning how to be a family dog! She will certainly benefit from having a canine in her forever home to show her the ropes. She will also need a fairly quiet home because too much noise and activity will just be frightening to her. For that reason we will place her in a home without young children. Beau is almost completely house trained now but her adopter will need to continue to be diligent with a potty schedule for her to keep making progress. She is learning to navigate stairs and is a pro at jumping up on the couch now. Beau has not a clue what to do with toys, but when the other dogs get to playing she gets very excited to watch. For an almost 11 year old dog, this girl still has some spunk in her.

Beau White is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. Due to her senior status, Beau's adoption fee is any donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.

You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog. Visit our website below for an adoption application https://www.snootygiggles.com/dog-application/

If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies need lots of attention and companionship. Thanks.

All known information about the animal is listed above. We do our best to give accurate information, but most of our dogs are rescues and do not come with a known history.
