Meet Baxter
My name is Baxter. I am a 3 year old, 13 lb Rat Terrier mix. The breed is a best guess... I came to Lizzy's not being able to use my back legs, but now I am walking on my own and improving every day. It is so exciting. Look at the video. It is wobbly, but I am getting stronger and more steady. It is so much fun to start to walk again. I didn’t think I ever would. I am a bit leary of bigger dogs I don’t know at first. I love my people – I crave attention and like to follow my peeps around. I ride great in the car. I think a short, leisurely stroll to continue to strengthen my legs would be fun. Help me continue to improve by adding me as your next family member. I can control my bladder and wait like a good boy to go outside. I would love to have a family of my own with just a small dog or two.
