Meet Barron
Meet Barron (aka Bear) – The Life of the Paw-ty!
Male
Estimated DOB: 1/30/2025
26 lbs
Pro-level Tug-of-War Champion
Looking for a puppy with personality, energy, and just the right amount of goofy? Meet Barron—a handsome little dude with a big personality and a heart full of love (and also a strong opinion about 90s country music as a lullaby).
Barron is a fun-loving, bouncy pup who spends his days wrestling and playing tug-of-war with his sister, chewing on bones (no rawhide, please!), and zooming around like a happy little tornado. He lives for toys—especially anything that can distract his busy puppy brain and soothe those tiny teething teeth.
He’s super smart and already knows how to sit politely for treats and meals. Speaking of meals—this guy is a food guzzler, so he’s “pace fed” like the royalty he is (breakfast, lunch, dinner… he’s got a whole schedule).
Barron is crate trained and sleeps in his crate like a good boy—just dim the lights and put on some 90s country, and he’s out like a light. He’ll bark if he needs to go potty overnight (honestly, responsible king behavior), and he’s been accident-free in his crate for weeks.
He lives in a foster home with a cat (he sniffs but doesn’t bother her), and three kids under 10—and he’s amazing with all of them. He’s gentle, playful, and has been learning the ropes of house training like a pro.
Daily walks? He’s in. This guy logs 1–2 miles a day and does great with a harness and leash. He’s active, social, and always down for the next adventure—or a belly rub.
If you’re looking for a puppy who’s equal parts playful and snuggly, who loves his people hard and isn’t afraid to party (responsibly), Barron might just be your perfect match.
Adopt him now before he starts charging for autographs.
Adopters will be given a voucher to cover the cost of his neuter at one of our participating vets when age appropriate.
Interested in adopting? Submit an adoption application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org!
We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview. From there, we’d schedule a meet and greet with the dog to make sure it is a great fit for adoption for the whole family and any other dogs in your home.
