Meet Baron, your future loyal companion! As an older dog, Baron brings the calm assurance of a friend who knows exactly who he is—dependable, loving, and always there when you need him.

This is Baron's second stay at BHS, and he’s more than ready to settle down in his forever home. He's looking for a place where he can be the one and only. He is a bit of a lone wolf as other animals aren't his thing, but he has plenty of love to give!

Baron is a seasoned explorer and would thrive with an experienced dog owner who he can bond with. While he enjoys the occasional playful burst of energy (usually when it comes to stuffy toys or a quick walk), he knows when it's time to relax. He’s also great with kids, but just watch out for those smaller toy balls—he’s been known to mistake them for a snack (one had to be surgically removed!).
Now in his golden years, Baron is ready to retire in a cozy home that appreciates his mellow side. He does take a couple of daily supplements to help with his joints, keeping the vets away and him feeling good!
