Meet Barney the Benji look alike! Barney is an approximately 5 year old, 20 pound terrier mix. Nothing in the world (except maybe treats) makes this boy happier then just cuddling in your lap. Barney brings so much joy to those around him with his goofball attitude and vocal pleas for affection. Barney isn’t much of a barker but he definitely likes to try to join in when anyone is singing. He is a favorite playmate with almost all dogs, big and small. He is very patient with both the child in the home and also the very bossy smaller dog that thinks she runs the show. Barney is full of love and deserves to find a furever home that will give the love, affection, and security he doesn’t seem to have had. Barney is crate trained, potty trained, up to date on shots, does well on a leash, Barney is heartworm positive, but his slow kill method is sponsored and included in his adoption fee. We have had great success with this method and have seen past fosters test negative at the end of the treatment plan.
