Meet Barney CB
Some people call me Barney but I’m not a big purple dinosaur that can’t carry a tune in a bucket….you know what can be carried in a bucket??? Puppies! That is right, me and my siblings were found abandoned in a bucket in a field. Upawn first glance you mighta thought we were scrawny pink field mice, but nope, we were just regular 9 week old puppies missing hair due to itchy mange and skinny due to yucky parvo. Good thing Foster Mommies have super x-ray vision eyes and saw that we were BEAUTIFUL under all that yuck.
No sooner did we kick the parvo germs, we also came down with distemper. Seriously, I had the triple threat of puppy diseases, but they didn’t strike me out. I am still in the game! Fast furward to about 7 months later, I am a happy healthy puppy. I went from having trouble standing and tremors to doing zoomies all over the yard and walking on a leash.
I am learning all the good boy rules. I am housebroken, if you let me out on time. I am making up for lost time by wrastlin’ with dogs. I really want a home with another dog to play with…preferably smaller than me, which should be pretty easy to find since I already weigh 60 lbs at 7 months and I am still growing.
I am prolly breaking some doggo-code admitting this, but I LOVE cats. You can learn A LOT of cool stuff from a cat. Fur example, in the middle of the night when everyone else is asleep….that is the best time to find the loudest squeakiest toy and chomp on it, it’s called being nocturnal and it is a really cool cat thing to do.
Speaking of cats, the volunteer lady said my eye spot looks like a calico kitty, but I am a dog. From my blue bell vanilla coat to my ice ice baby eyes, I am definitely a head turner. Foster Mommy did a DNA test to test my ingredients. Guess! I will wait while you make a guess….*one second later, because Barney is too excited to wait* I am 25% German Shepherd, 25% Great Pyrenees and 25% Husky, with some other stuff thrown in.
I want a home that likes to go on adventures, real adventures, not just going to the Sonic drive-in like Foster Mommy does! I am gonna be a heavy boy, so you should pick me up now, while I am still easy to carry! I am hanging out with my friends in San Antonio until you call. I’m waiting near the phone. I might be playing though so Foster Mom will help you out. Belly rubs and kisses!!!
