"I love you. You love me. We're a happy family... " My name is Barney, but I am not a big purple dinosaur. I am a 2 1/2 year old, 65 pound lovable male pointer mix! I was found as a stray. I am house broken, crate and leash trained. My perfect day involves a long walk, a car ride followed by a nice long nap on the couch! I get along with dogs and kids, but might easily knock over little ones without meaning to. In fact I really like kids! When I get excited I turn in circles! I know how to "sit" and am working on several other commands. My disposition is laid back and calm and I could live in either a house with a fenced yard or an apartment, as long as I get daily exercise. My foster mom says that I am a big goofball. I can take awhile to warm up, particularly to men and I am a bit timid about new experiences and people. Aren't we all a work in progress? But, I don't need a kennel and if left alone, I have never torn up anything. "With a great big hug, And a kiss from me to you, won't you say you love me too?"

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
