BARNABY's Story

All dogs are located in southeast Arizona between Benson and WILLCOX just south of interstate 10. It is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Tempe or one hour east of Tucson Barnaby is a gorgeous four-year-old 55 pound husky! He looks purebred to us. He has the most gorgeous eyes! Barnaby was found by somebody, and Animal Control came to pick him up. He was scared of new people and just wanted to hide. He went to the county shelter where he stayed for approximately six weeks and in this time, he began to warm up and enjoy humans. Fedwell Farm was happy to have Barnaby come to our rescue. He needed time to decompress from the kennels situation, which was very detrimental to him. Barnaby gets alone with other dogs although he prefers girl dogs. He is housebroken. And we have not seen any damage caused by him. Barnaby would be wonderful in a home where people understand and could teach him that life is a wonderful place and there are so many things to explore!
