Hello there, I'm Barley! My friends at the shelter tell me I'm a very good boy! I absolutely love going for long walks at the park and even enjoy splashing in the water and going for a little swim! I can be a little timid around strangers but love when people give me butt scratches, treats, and toys as a way of getting to know me. It doesn't take long to win me over, and then you'll be lucky enough to experience the exuberance and joy that I am full of! I tend to prefer going it solo when it comes to other dogs, especially after being in a shelter full of barking pups since April! I have no problems seeing them or being in proximity, but don't really want a canine roommate if I don't have to have one. Instead, I'd love a mature household that is looking to play, cuddle, and dote upon a loving pup who has waited a long time for his forever family.
