Hi, I’m Barley - I have got so much to tell you about myself, so I guess I better get started!

Okay, the basics – I am 7 months old and currently 52-pounds. I am working really hard on being fully potty trained. I would say I am 90% there and do best with a schedule. And I am totally okay hanging out in my crate while you are out.

Winter has been great! I have gotten to go ice fishing and run around on what my foster humans call frozen water (so wild!) and play around in the snow. Humans keep telling me there are other fantastic seasons too, but I gotta tell ya, winter is currently my #1 favorite.

I met some other dogs and ah so fun! We had the best time playing and running around. I also get to live with a 10-year-old human and have officially decided that kids are awesome! I am still learning about things and manners so my foster family thinks it would be best that if there are kids in the home that they be older and dog-savvy.

Speaking of training, I can’t wait to learn more! It will be important that my forever home is on board with continuing training to help me be an amazing version of myself. And as much as I would love a fenced yard to play in, I would totally be fine without one as long as I get two good walks each day.

I am an energetic sweetheart looking for a loving home (hopefully with a canine friend for me) and cannot wait to meet you!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
