Barley is currently in a foster home in Hillsboro, OR and is eligible for meet & greets!
Meet Barley!
Barley is a handsome 2 year old pit / boxer mix. Barley is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped & ready to find a family to call his own!
Barley is dog and cat friendly! He lives with multiple cats and another dog in his current foster home. He will chase the cats, but only when his doggie foster brother starts it! And he has never been mean or tried to hurt them. Barley currently lives in a home with 2 children and he does great with them! He is so gentle and sweet towards them.
Barley is nervous around men when first meeting them and will be slow to warm up, but as long as you are patient with him, and allow him to come to you, Barley will be curled up in your lap in no time. He needs a home that will understand this. Barley loves women and has no issues whatsoever with them.
Barley LOVES plushy toys. His current foster is a vet and she is able to take him to work with her with zero issues.
Barley loves laying on your feet and requesting love. He is fully potty trained and also kennel trained. He currently sleeps in bed with his foster mom at night and goes into the kennel when he doesn't accompany her to work.
Barley does get a little nervous if he is left outside without being attended. He loves being able to see his people and will jump his foster's fence and run around to the front door to find you. We would suggest staying outside with Barley while he potties.
