Meet Barley
Greetings! My name is Barley and I am a 5 year old German Shepherd mix. I have been neutered, I am up to date on shots and I am looking for an amazing home! I am on my 3rd chance at life (they say only cats have 9 lives ?) and I am hoping to find a perfect home with you. I am a very high energy boy, that my previous owners just did not understand. I was in both homes less than a month before I was returned, I think they just couldn’t handle all the love I have to give. According to my foster mom I am a very snuggly boy, who will do anything for a treat (and that definitely shows, I weigh about 90 pounds and am on the chunky side). I know some tricks like sit and lay down, and my absolute favorite things to do are play tug of war and chase a ball! I get along with most other dogs, but would do best with a dog that can handle my abundance of energy. I am hoping to find a loving, active home that will work with me on my manners and give me the time and love to make me go from a great dog to an even better one!
