Barbie is a 7 month female Lab/Hound mix, who is so ready to find her forever home! She came in to the shelter with her sister Skipper, and they currently live in the same pen. They get along very well, and can be adopted together or separately. Barbie seems to be the more outgoing of the two sisters, and loves getting affection from you. She is also very cute as she plays with toys, and has quickly learned that squeaky toys are the best thing EVER! Overall, she has a moderate energy level, and mainly enjoys walking around to explore. And when it's time to rest, Barbie likes to find a shady spot and hang out with her people ... under the bench is one of her favorite spots! Barbie was initially unsure of the leash, especially when passing by noisy dogs, but she has quickly learned that the leash leads to fun walks. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
