Meet Banjo

Hi, my name is Banjo! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Excitable, treat-motivated, quick learner, active
-Can Live with Kids: 12 and older - Banjo could easily knock over any small children that get near him when he gets excited!
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, likely has high prey drive. Would need a confident cat with a cautious, slow introduction.
-Can Live with Dogs: No - is unpredictable and needs to work on his manners. Would benefit greatly from focusing on socialization with other dogs during his training lessons.
-Can do Apartment Living: No
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: None
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, 1-3 private lessons depending on adopters experience
-Energy Level: HIGH
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter
-Additional Information: Banjo is a young, energetic-breed dog who knows a couple of tricks but could use the help of a dog-experienced adopter to learn the ins and outs of being a companion dog. Banjo may have spend majority of his time outdoors so he may have a bit of a learning curve learning appropriate indoor behavior. He is very food motivated and intelligent so positive reward based training will go a long way! Banjo would benefit from a family that is active and will be able to take him on hikes and runs that is committed to setting him up for success through training.
