Bane Pit Bull Terrier Littleton, CO

I was living in Houston, in the backyard, sometimes I didn't see anybody for days. I was hungry, thirsty and I itched. The humidity, the sand fleas, mites, heat....I lost almost all of my hair. I needed to get out of that weather!!! What I really wanted was to live in a house. My owners took me to BARC - the shelter cause they couldn't afford to take me to the vet, a kill shelter! They just didn't want to look at me being miserable anymore - out of sight, out of mind. I was laying in the kennel the other dogs were telling me I wasn't going to make it out of there. Well, I had a secret weapon, I had a staff member that loved me!! She was going to get me out there, she said. One day she came over to my kennel and told me I was going to Colorado and pack my things!!! I was excited, so I started packing and realized that I didn't have anything to pack.... my friend came to get me and kissed my goodbye and wished me luck! I did get lucky! I live in a house!!!! My foster lets me be in the house! My hair is growing back and I am feeling great!! Colorado is wonderful, it isn't so hot and there is hardly any humidity! Man I love it here!! Just need a home! I can not wait for Winter!!!! I wonder what snow is like?!
