Meet Bandit! A loving and affectionate 8 ½ year old Chihuahua looking for his forever home.

Bandit loves other dogs and just wants to be their friend! He is quite sassy with cats though – sometimes he is cool with them, sometimes he goes barreling after them growling – so to be safe, no cats in his forever home. Kids? He enjoys snuggling and playing with them!

Bandit is a clinger in the most adorable way possible. He attaches quickly to his humans and follows them everywhere they go. Bandit is a fantastic snuggle buddy and loves to burrow under the blankets!

Bandit is working on his dance audition – he dances on his back legs when he is super excited about something like going for a walk or getting a yummy treat. He also loves chewing on treats, chasing small toys in the yard and snuggling.

Bandit likes to bolt if given the opportunity driven mostly by his desire to explore. Don’t let his 7-pound size fool you, he is quick and hard to catch! So, we recommend that there is a fenced yard or always be on a leash when outside.

Bandit is looking for a loving home where his humans are at home more than they are away. Another friendly dog pal would be great too! But if all the attention and affection is on him, he wouldn’t mind that either :)



His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.

Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
