Bandit Labrador Retriever & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Cypress, TX

My name is Bandit! I was lost and hungry but I got lucky. My humans took me into their home and have loved me back to being a very happy puppy. I am only about 1 year-old, 46lbs, and not sure what breed my birth parents were. Possibly a lab/pit mix. My humans have really cared for me. They gave me a special sleeping place that they call my crate. I really love it! It is warm and safe. Lots of days I wander back to my crate to take a nap.

We also get to go on walks. I like walks and my humans always say I’m a “Good Boy” for walking well on my leash. We get to meet other dogs and their humans in our neighborhood. Everyone is so nice and they all tell my humans that I am so friendly. We get to visit one of my humans at his fire house, too… I feel like a celebrity there.

My humans have 2 young kids but I am more comfortable with older kids. I really love: Chest rubs, treats, naps, exploring & sniffing around the yard, bones, chasing balls, treats, dinner… but my most favorite thing is just being right next to my humans! Oh, and treats!!

There are 3 other dogs that live here at my human’s house. One of them is also a
puppy. We like to play chase and ball together. She has a lot more crazy energy than me. My humans say that I am very calm and gentle, especially for a puppy. She also likes to bark at strangers and to get attention, but that’s silly because my human told me that I get more pets and belly rubs because I never bark.

My humans explained to me that they really, really love me and wish that I could stay in their home forever. But, their other dogs need extra special care. They think that I need a family that can keep me and love me forever. I know they want the best for me. I can’t wait to meet my new family!
