Introducing Banana, the gorgeous red merle mix that's part cuddle companion, part adventure buddy, and entirely devoted to making you smile. At 2 years old and 70 lbs, he's just the right size for both a sprawling yard and a cozy living room. This lovely lad has a personality as vibrant as his unique coat, thriving in an environment filled with love and a bit of daily excitement.

Banana is the social butterfly of the canine world, exceptionally friendly and outgoing with everyone he meets—humans and dogs alike. He currently shares his space with a pack of 14 other dogs, where he's perfected the art of being a gracious roommate, displaying a particular fondness for female companions. Though his best gal pal has found her forever home, Banana’s heart has room to grow, be it with another female dog or as the sole recipient of your affection.

A true sweetheart, Banana adores attention and has a knack for bringing out the joy in every interaction. Whether it's a short stroll around the block or a longer adventure in the great outdoors, he's up for it with enthusiasm. When he’s not out and about, you can find him chilling at home, perhaps a bit messily snacking from his bowl—he’s known for his quirky eating habits but takes treats as gently as a gentleman.

When it comes to children, Banana is a pro. He hasn’t lived with little ones under ten but interacts wonderfully with children he meets, making him a fantastic addition to an active family. This pup doesn’t just tolerate calm adults; he thrives in their company, adapting easily to new faces and places with his trademark wag and smile.

Banana is mostly trained and knows his manners, needing only the occasional reminder to keep him on his best behavior. He’s also accustomed to crates, though he prefers to roam freely when possible.

Banana is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
