Although Bambi has a lot of love to give, she is a pet with medical needs, she has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, (CH) so she will require a dog-savvy adopter. She's a friendly girl who's always up for a good snuggle and some belly rubs, but because of her energy levels, she'll need a home that knows when she is getting overstimulated and needs to take a break. Bambi is dog and cat fearless, so having a very mellow, easy-natured dog and cat is important to make that friendship work. Bambi’s only medical needs are love, patience, understanding. Limited access to stairs, no pools, and non-slip rugs throughout if floors are slick, she will love a long happy life otherwise! Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required before this dog goes to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and treated for fleas.
