BAMBI

Bambi was brought to the NYC Animal Care Centers as stray in April 2021. His history was a mystery Pound Hounds was able to save his life due to a foster stepping up.<br/><br/><br/>Bambi's STATS:<br/><br/>Approx 2 years old<br/>17 lbs<br/>House trained<br/>Crate-Trained<br/>Good with dogs with proper introductions. <br/>Good with cats<br/>UTD on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.<br/><br/>Here is what his foster mom has to say:<br/><br/>Bambi is an incredibly sweet dog that would do best in a low traffic home. He is very smart and motivated by treats and affection. He will mostly want to spend his time sleeping in his crate as he sees it to be his safe place. He loves affection and learning to be a happy and relaxed dog every day. <br/><br/>Bambi is a little afraid of strangers and males. He makes it clear he is uncomfortable by barking and vocalizing but does not charge or attack. He is naturally timid and shy.<br/><br/>Bambi has zoomies randomly and is a very quick learner. He feels the most safe in his crate. He mostly prefers to be in his crate with his bed (door open) for majority of the day. He knows “sit” and “inside” (crate). He is very loving, loves attention and pets. He will open up easily to a new family who is patient with him and shows him a lot of positive reinforcement. <br/><br/>.
