Meet this sweet little "deer," Bambi! This gorgeous one-year-old, 45 lb. Carolina Dog/Golden Retriever mix came to Connecticut all the way from North Carolina after being found as a stray. You cannot help but fall in love with this pretty pup the moment you meet her!

Bambi is seriously perfection - her long luxurious coat and soulful eyes will have you petting her for hours, which she will happily accept. She also cannot resist cuddles and belly rubs! She is great with everyone she meets, including other dogs, cats, and kids. Bambi has a really nice energy level and a wonderful temperament. She can be shy at first but once she warms up, she'll be right by your side and is a very affectionate girl. Bambi seems to gravitate towards and be much more comfortable around children and pups so a home with kids or another dog is a requirement for her adoption.

She walks well on leash, is housetrained, and is learning that drives in the car don't need to be so scary. Being a young pup, she definitely has some puppy tendencies and can be a bit of a shoe theft. She will truly make a wonderful addition to any home. You must have a fenced yard to be considered for her adoption.
