Meet Bambi
When we were called to rescue Bambi, it was late at night. She and what we assume was her brother had run into traffic, and he had gotten hit. His neck had snapped, and he died immediately. Bambi was sitting on top of him, trying to protect him, in the middle of the road.
Attached to Bambi, was her long chain. It was secured around her neck with three padlocks, and we had to use bolt cutters to remove it.
Bambi was in shock, and severely scared of people for many days after this incident. We then learned that she was far along pregnant. Bambi had her babies in a foster home, and they have since weaned.
Bambi is FINALLY ready for her forever family!
Included in the adoption fee of $275 is up to date vet care, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and spay as soon as she's ready.
