Meet Baloo! <br/>This handsome guy made the long journey all the way from Djibouti and is now ready to find his forever home! Our best guess is that Baloo is a Basenji-Saluki mix, and he's every bit as unique as that sounds. He has put on some healthy weight since arriving and is now 35lbs. <br/><br/>Baloo has a gorgeous tan and white ticked coat and soulful eyes that tell the story of his journey. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through. He warms up quickly to other dogs and will absolutely need a confident dog companion in his new home to help him continue to blossom. He has also gotten along great with the resident cat in his foster home. <br/><br/>Baloo is crate and house trained and since being in his foster home has learned the ropes of life in a home-he has warmed up to his foster family and the resident pack. He came into foster care not knowing any basic house manners or training and is doing so great with a solid routine and continued reinforcement.
