Baloo Great Dane & Saint Bernard Mix Aurora, CO

Hey Everybody, Baloo is not blue! He is a happy Great Dane/St. Bernard Mix puppy who is 1 year old. He is crate trained, house trained and good with dogs. He met the cats at the vet's office and sniffed them with interest and backed off when one of them told him too. Baloo was turned in to the rescue due to no fault of his own as his previous owner could not handle his tall, gangly, awesome size. At 130 pounds, Baloo is a super sweet boy that is just a big puppy. He is in a foster home where strong leaders are working with him each day setting boundaries, providing a consistent routine and lots of love and understanding. He loves, loves to play with balls of all sizes, plays a mean game of catch and loves to play tug too. He snuggles on the couch, sleeps soundly on his raised cot after play time and is learning to play more gently with the smaller foster dog at his foster home. He is sensitive to her cues if he gets too exuberant. He respects the advice of the older resident dog at the foster home on how to behave too. He has met other humans and just knew they wanted to pet him and tell him what a good boy he is. Baloo will need to continue with strong, consistent leadership and could be the best buddy to a new family with older kids due to his happy boisterous nature.
