Bala Terrier Mix Mesa, AZ

Bala came to us after her senior owner passed away. She is the Mary Poppins of dogs - practically perfect in every way, in my opinion. She's outgrown the bad parts of the puppy stage, but is still young and playful. She's small enough to pick up and be a lap dog, but big enough to cuddle like a teddy bear, which she loves, btw. She loves people and bonds quickly with them. She likes to be near her favorite person, but isn't too needy or demanding. She's calm and happily naps most of the day, but likes to play when you engage her. She gets along with other dogs, but would be happy to be an only dog as well in my opinion. She's gentle enough for kids and seniors. She likes to play keep away with toys, but is good at responding to ""drop it"" if she has something she's not supposed to. She's more motivated by love and praise than treats. She's docile and obedient, but still has plenty of spunk and personality that makes us laugh. Like I said, the perfect balance in so many areas. She would be a great addition to just about any family who will treat her with the love she deserves.
