Bailey's Story
Just look at this cutie! Bailey is a 5-year-old, 14-pound terrier mix. She came to us from the Clinton Animal Shelter after being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Life hasn’t always been kind to her, but Bailey’s spirit shines through—she’s playful, curious, and finally getting the chance to be a dog again.

Bailey is younger than most of our Ranch residents and full of playful energy! She loves other dogs and actively seeks out their attention, so she’ll need a young, playful doggie companion in her new home who will join her in romping, exploring, and having fun. A securely fenced yard is also a must—she’s very interested in chasing squirrels and loves to run around safely.

While she’s still learning that people can be trusted, Bailey is making steady progress every day. She’s not much of a lap dog (at least not yet!), but she enjoys gentle attention on her own terms. She’ll do best in a calm, patient home with older, quiet kids and someone who understands that trust takes time.

Because of her coat, regular grooming will be important to keep her comfortable and looking her best. We haven’t tested her with cats, but given her enthusiasm for squirrels, a cat-free home may be best.

Bailey is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find the person (and playful pup friend!) who will give her the safe, loving life she deserves.

?
