Meet Bailey

Bailey is a beautiful and sweet Great Pyrenees/Lab mix.
She was found wandering around a neighborhood in Southeast Texas. A Good Samaritan took her in and after a few days reached out to us for help. We took her in and continued the search for her family in case she was just lost.

She needed a bath, was a little skinny and had a few fleas but mostly seemed healthy. The Veterinarian agreed and guessed she was around 10-12 months old. She is ~55lbs and bears a few trademark Pyrenees qualities but she is petite and looks more like a Labrador so we think that's a pretty good guess for her mix. She received full medical care and is scheduled for her spay/microchip.

Bailey has really surprised us in the best ways. Most strays are timid and fearful but right from the start, she has been very social and loves everyone. She even curled up into the Veterinarian's lap and snuggled her neck as soon as she met her :)

Bailey loves couch cuddles, yard zoomies, chewing on toys, tennis balls, playing tug, taking so many naps and just hanging out with all humans and all animals. She has been great with dogs of all sizes in her foster home and was even sweet to the office cat she met at the Vet. She is extremely easy to correct as well - just a little "eh eh" noise and she stops whatever she's doing and looks to you for guidance. A trainer's dream dog!

She is kennel trained and only had one potty accident before learning where the back door was. She is a strong chewer so her kennel has an elevated canvas bed and she frequently walks in to take naps while the door is open. She is easy to walk and travels well in a car. Watch out for those paws, she will grab your arm and pull it towards her for love nibbles.

We are so happy to say that Bailey would do well in any home situation - she'd be great in a pack or as a single dog. Big or small family, it doesn't matter. Let's find out who she falls in love with - could it be you??
