Bailey Toy Fox Terrier Mix Lowell, MA

Bailey is a 15 year old fox terrier mix who is very excited to find her new loving family. She is a very shy girl when meeting new people and will need an owner who understands that patience is a virtue when acclimating Bailey to her new home! Bailey does a great job of expressing her emotions through her body language whether she is telling you she is happy or a little overwhelmed. Bailey loves to be next to you and cuddled in your arms, but she does not love being picked up. She appreciates when you give her attention on her own terms, slowly but surely. She is a spritely little girl for being 15 years old as she loves to go on long walks, rain or shine! We think that this lovely lady would do well in a home with children, cats, or dogs given a proper introduction. If you do have children or a residential pet please give us a call at the shelter so we can see if Bailey is a good match for you!

Currently, Bailey is on a special diet for early kidney disease. Her adopter will need to be comfortable with bringing her for blood work every three months to monitor her levels and down the road likely do additional medical intervention (fluid therapy, medication, etc.)
