What is Off the Chain MKE’s adoption process?

Our process is as follows *Complete an adoption application on our website! *Once we receive your application we will process for approval. *When your application is approved you will be contacted to set up a meet and greet between all members of your household and the dog along with a home inspection. *Approval process includes landlord and vet checks, if you rent or have current pets residing in your home. *Applications are processed in the order in which they are received, our adoption decisions are made on best fit, not first come first serve. *We are volunteer based and do not have a staff, it may take a few days to hear back regarding you application status. *At this time, we do not adopt to an residents outside of Wisconsin* Adoption Fees: *8 weeks-6 months: $500 * 7 Months - 6 years: $450 * 7 years and up: $400 The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, microchip spay/ neuter, heartworm test, fecal exam and CVI.
