Babygrill's Story

Meet Baby Grill, a gentle 2-year-old, 45-lb girl who is learning how big the world can be. Hazel came from a hoarding situation, so many everyday things are still new to her—but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she’s already showing just how much she wants to bloom.

Baby Grill is a timid pup at first, but give her a little time and she’ll quietly choose you as her safe place. Once she trusts you, she loves to stay close and soak up reassurance from her person. She gets along well with other dogs and may feel even more confident with a canine companion by her side. She previously lived in a home with cats, though we’re not sure how much experience she had with them.

Baby Grill is a light, agile girl who can clear tall fences, so she’ll need a secure yard or leash walks to keep her safe. Most of all, she needs a home that will go slow, offer gentle guidance, and help her discover that people can be good and the world isn’t so scary.

If you have a soft spot for shy dogs and love watching them come out of their shell, Baby Grill could be your perfect match. She’s ready to start her new life—one patient, loving day at a time.

She is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. She is $175 to bring home.

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
