BabyJoJo's Story

Meet JoJo, our tuxedo queen!

Affectionately known as "Baby" by her foster family, JoJo is a special girl looking for her furever person. Rescued from a city kill shelter, volunteers there pleaded for us to save her, and we're so glad we did. While we don't know much about her past, we know she lived with an elderly woman who was too sick to care for her and ultimately surrendered her to the shelter.

Baby JoJo has made incredible strides in her foster home. She knows all her basic commands—sit, down, stay, and let's go—and loves her walks around the neighborhood. Her favorite thing is to cuddle up with her foster dad, and she gives all her love in return. She's incredibly affectionate and loyal once she feels safe, and will show you her gentle soul.

Baby JoJo needs a patient, experienced adopter who can give her time to warm up to new people. She is looking for an adult-only home where she can currently be the only dog. A quiet home without a lot of visitors would be ideal. A closed fenced yard would be a dream come true for her to run and play in.

Baby is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She is ~5 year old, 68 lbs, and we believe a pittie and labrador mix. She has so much potential and just needs a patient person to give her the forever home she deserves. Foster-to-adopt options are available.

To Apply for Baby JoJo: Please submit your application at www.gwarp.org. Once you have submitted your application, please text Kerry at 646-209-4140.
