Breed: Shih Tzu/Poodle
Gender / Age: Female - 10+ yrs YOUNG
Size: 12-14 lbs - normal shih tzu size
Personality: a typical little toy breed girl- very bossy, sassy and loving- she runs the house! Baby is a happy, active and busy little girl- She does have trachea issues and must watch her weight and barking must be limited - she is not on any medications- (complete copy of vet records will go to new home)
Baby was taken to her vet to be killed- her owner, that had her since she was a tiny baby, didn't want to do any test or provide her with any medical care for her trachea issue- she was very over weight and was struggling to breath- WE took her into our rescue, did some test, gave her a few weeks of meds, got some weight off her and she is ALL better! she does snore!! lol- We are actually shocked that we were told her age was 8-10 yrs, she does NOT act or look that age-
We are looking to find a calm home for her, with someone looking to open their heart and home to a sweet active baby to love and adore- She wouldn't do well with cats, like to bark at them- house with full-time children may be too exciting- she is house trained with a good schedule!

Adoption fee is $200 -

Adult Dogs: includes vet exam, spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heartworm test, fecal test, deworming. Dental if needed and ALL other vet recommend treatment - ALL dogs are on hw preventative as well- Vet records are given to new home- ANY and ALL health and social issues will be listed on this bio page!! We disclose everything we know!

** If dog is transported to NORTH via professional service, adoption fee will include health certificate. Fee does Not include: Transport Fee $150 - you pay directly to transport service. All dogs are transported from AL using PETS LLC Transport Service .
MA and NH - WE ARE NOT APPROVED TO ADOPT YOUR STATE DUE TO STATE LAWS!

Local southern adoptions; new home must meet our volunteer to pick up in person or if close enough we will bring to your home -

Our dogs are rescued from AL Kill Shelters or Puppy Mills- We have dogs in our care for several weeks if not months, before they are adopted to new homes- this allows us to know the dogs personality and needs. We place our dogs in homes that is the best fit for them! This will ensure a good placement for both YOU and the dog-

ARE OUR DOGS HOUSE-TRAINED? Yes, most are paper/pad trained, BUT NOT at YOUR HOUSE - Most are pee-pad trained and some with a doggie door. However, ALL dogs will have to be re-trained at their new home, due to a new sleeping and feeding schedule. This is not just for rescue dogs, ANY dog going to a new home will have to be re-trained!
Do our male dogs mark? Yes, they will for the first few days at a new home-
