Meet Babs
MEET BABS!
Babs is a senior pit bull looking for her own forever. Babs was roaming the streets and was picked up and taken to the shelter. We know at some point she had a human, but no one came for her. Babs is a big time cuddle bug and she's all about humans. She loves to stick closely with her people taking short walks out or following them around the house. Babs has other skills too including catching treats in the air and taking a nap on her favorite blanket. She would do best as an only dog in the home and no cats please! She has some arthritis, is hard of hearing even though she somehow hears if you shake treats, and has some allergies (common with blue pits). All the things that come with age. She is fully housebroken too.
If you are looking for your next best friend, we promise that this gal will be just that!
Pit bull & strong breed adoption criteria
- Must be over 25 years of age to adopt a Pit Bull, Pit Bull mix, or strong breed dog.
- Written landlord permission or a pet policy allowing the specific breed is required for adoption approval.
- A virtual home visit may be required.
- Training or breed experience is required as part of the adoption.
- Agree to not take the dog to dog parks or dog daycare.
- Pit Bull only: our values very closely aligned with Villalobos Rescue Center. Read Pit Bull Facts on their website (https://vrcpitbull.com/pit-bull-facts/). We will not match our pit bull dogs in homes who have not done their research.
