Meet Babie
Babie is about 4+ years old, and currently in the mid 40lbs range.
She is a friendly, happy dog, though a little on the shy side initially - naturally a little aloof at first meeting, but warms up nicely once you gain her trust.
She was kept by her previous owners as a breeding dog, but since coming into rescue, she is now spayed and ready to continue her life as a loving, indoor-household pet. She is already crate trained and perfectly housebroken.
Babie can get along with some dogs, some of the time, but she definitely shows a deal of dog-selectivity, so at this stage, we would recommend she be an only dog in the home.
We have not tested her with cats, other small critters, or children yet, but would expect they have a normally high prey drive for smaller, wild animals (squirrels, rabbits etc) and again, would recommend caution with any introduction (regardless of the dog's breed). She did live with several children with her former owners, and no problems were reported.
