Hi! I'm Azure! I'm sweet as can be and a bit of a shy girl! I came to rescue from a reservation. Have you seen my beautiful eyes?

I can be scared of people at first and need some time to warm up. I require a fenced yard in my new home and another dog to help build my confidence and give me someone to follow.

I don't really know a leash very well yet, but I'm working on it. I'm working on housetraining and crate training and doing pretty well, but I will need a family who is patient and willing to work with me when I move to a new environment.

I'm looking for my best fit home and would love you to submit an application. I will be able to go home the beginning of October when the rest of my vetting is complete.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
