This little cutie is Axel who is an 12 week old male shepherd mix puppy.
Axel has all that wonderful puppy energy for lots of play and lots of cuddles and more play and more cuddles! He is eager for long sniffy walks and will need daily opportunities for running and playing - and he is very excited about finding out what kind of toys he will like best. Balls for fetch? Ropes for tug? Squeaky plush toys to de-fluff? Let's try them all, please! Axel also can't wait to go to obedience school so he can show you how fast he learns.Â
But what Axel wants most of all is to lay down at the end of a long fun day and sigh, knowing he is safe and loved. What do you say? Do scritches and pats sound like a good trade for adoring looks and unwavering loyalty for many years to come.
Axel is a cute puppy who will be a puppy for a while. Puppies are a lot of work for their new families. They are a blank slate and know nothing. Puppies will whine, get into things, have accidents in the house and chew on inappropriate things. All of these are typical puppy behaviors and can be helped with puppy training classes where they can learn manners and good behavior.
Axel will be ready to go to his new home in a few weeks. Applications are being accepted now.
