Axel Siberian Husky Alpharetta, GA

If you want a regular dog to run and play with, Axel is not for you. He basically needs someone to let him live out his senior days with them. He needs a patient home to let him be old, take naps, go for walks or wander in the yard and go out often. Axel is an 12 year old boy with some hip issues. He cannot go up or down stairs easily, and needs help getting in and out of taller vehicles. He loves kids and dogs. He can be a grumpy, growly old man.. but he’s super sweet and loves attention. Older kids would be a better fit for him. Although Axel is older and cannot be as active as some, he LOVES going for walks, and loves playing with other dogs. We have taken him to the dog park quite a few times and he gets out there running and playing with the others, and then usually sleeps it all off when we get home. In the house, he is usually laying on his bed near us napping. He does love to talk and howl and ask for human food from time to time though.
