Meet Axel 3417
6/11/25. AXEL is one of the 7 Dobies rescued from the basement in Georgia. This delightful young boy is so loving and affectionate, calm, walks great on a leash, and would love to smother you with kisses. Cats and kids are unknown, but rumor has it they used to break out of the basement to play with the kids in the neighborhood.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. Here are links to foster and adoption applications for those dogs who need a foster home or adoptive home.
