UPDATE: Hey! It's Avery! I am a sweet 4 month old heeler/ boxer mix! I am super smart and extremely loving girl! I love people especially the little human ones. I love other dogs, but I don't like sharing my food with them. I am completely crate trained! I am mostly potty trained, mostly meaning I have to be reminded to go potty when I am outside and not just play! I am ready for a home to call my own.

Avery and her 5 siblings came in from rural Missouri where they were living under a shed with mom and her 2 remaining older siblings. They are all red heeler/boxer mixes and super sweet. Aspen and Avery are fostered together and are your typical puppies: playful, snuggly, always hungry, and underfoot. Aspen is braver than Avery and was the first to really crave attention. She loves tug toys and egg cartons. Avery is super snuggly and is REALLY into shoes (LOL). She likes the outdoors unless it is wet. Then she needs to be coaxed out. Avery is currently working on potty training. She loves to sleep in a crate with her sister after a few minutes of indignant protest. Both puppies adore tummy rubs and chasing anything that moves!
