Autumn's Story
FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Autumn is a delicate little lady who is dreaming of a home for the holidays. She loves to be with her people and can usually be found nestled on a pile of cozy blankets or on a bed in front of the fireplace. Autumn enjoys going for walks while she explores her surroundings and takes in the scents of the season. She is a great little companion no matter what the plan is and would love a home where she isn't left alone for long periods of time.

Autumn loves meal time and will excitedly dance around while she waits for her food. She is great with other dogs, small or big, and would enjoy a gentle companion that will be a good friend to her. Autumn is a gentle girl and would most likely be fine with cats. Because of her size and the quick and unpredictable nature of young children we are asking for a home without children under 8 years of age. Autumn is housebroken but she will need frequent potty breaks. IF she doesn't have access to the outdoors she will use a potty pad....her manners are great.

Autumn recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She also received a dental with extractions.. She has a grade 2 medial patella laxation on her rear left knee/patella. Surgery is not warranted. Autumn is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 10 years old and weighs 8 pounds.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog. For questions about this dog please call Elizabeth Woche, Senior and Special Needs Dog Coordinator, at 425-974-9479
